The owner of Central Meridian Corporation which employs about 35 local tradesman and also provides accommodation services on the island.  His company has been responsible for a number of significant builds on Nauru including Nauru Museum, Police Station & specialist Covid Ward at RON Hospital.

A Nauruan businessman who was a Member of Parliament for Anetan from 9 July 2016 to 27 August 2019. He was a member of the Opposition. Oppenheimer is the owner of the retail store Capelle & Partner – the largest private business in Nauru with over 150 employees.
